High Speed Two (HS2) Limited is the company responsible for developing and promoting the UK’s new high speed rail network. It is funded by grant-in-aid from the government. i.e. hard working tax payers. In 2010 the total cost to us was predicted to be £34BILLION. This estimate has escalated in 2015 to in excess of £70BILLION. What a lot of money to make the rail journey from Euston to Birmingham just 30 MINUTES quicker!
